What we collect

Details you give us: your name, WhatsApp or phone number, trip date, group size, pickup area and any requests you share when you message us, fill in a form or claim an offer code.

How you found us: the page you landed on, the pages you viewed and campaign details such as UTM parameters or an ad click ID (for example from Google Ads), so we know which ads bring bookings.

Technical data: your device type, browser and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar tools when analytics or advertising tags are active on the site.

How we use it

To reply to you, prepare your quote, confirm your booking and arrange pickup.

To send you the offer code you asked for and honour it.

To understand how the site is used and to measure and improve our advertising.

To meet legal, tax and safety obligations.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the services that help us run the business: our website host, WhatsApp (Meta) for messaging, and analytics and advertising providers such as Google and Meta when their tags are active. Our tour partners (for example camp operators) receive only what they need to run your trip. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as we need them to handle your trip and follow up, and generally no longer than 24 months after your last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop using it for marketing, at any time. Email info@desertsafaritravels.com or message us on WhatsApp and we'll reply within 30 days.

Security

We limit access to your data to the people who need it and use services with industry-standard security. No website is completely secure, so please don't send payment card details through WhatsApp or forms.
