What is the best time for a desert safari?
October to April has the best weather. The evening safari is the most popular because of the sunset and shows. In summer (June-September) the morning safari or a late-starting evening trip is more comfortable.
How long is a desert safari?
Evening safaris take about 6.5-7 hours door to door (pickup around 2:00-2:30 PM, back by 9:00-9:30 PM). Morning safaris take about 4 hours. Overnight trips take about 16 hours.
Is the desert safari safe?
Yes, with a licensed operator. Our drivers are licensed safari captains, and our Land Cruisers are insured and fitted with roll cages, seat belts and GPS tracking. Dune bashing isn't recommended during pregnancy, with back or heart problems, or for children under 3.
Do you pick up from my hotel?
Yes. Pickup and drop-off are included from hotels and homes across Dubai. Sharjah and Ajman are available too.
