Take the wheel yourself. Our dune buggies are Polaris RZR, Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo RR, Kawasaki Teryx and a 3000cc Power Buggy, and they run in the open red dunes of Lahbab with a lead guide. Book 30 minutes to 2 hours, self-drive to our base or take hotel pickup, and add dinner and a desert camp if you want the full evening.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a driving licence to drive a dune buggy in Dubai?
No licence is required in our desert area. The driver must be 18+ (16+ with a guardian on some models). Passengers can be younger, and ID is checked at the base.
How many people fit in a dune buggy?
1-, 2- and 4-seat buggies are available. The price is per buggy, not per person.
Is pickup included?
Two options: self-drive to our desert base (cheapest), or hotel pickup and drop-off in a 4x4 (from a small extra per buggy, or included in the 'with pickup' prices).
What should I wear?
Closed shoes, light long sleeves and sunglasses. Helmets, goggles and gloves are provided, and a scarf or face cover helps with the sand.
Can first-timers drive a buggy?
Yes. You get a safety briefing and follow a lead guide, and the Polaris RZR 1000 is the easiest to drive.
Can pregnant women or children join?
Pregnant guests shouldn't ride. Children can ride as passengers in 2- and 4-seat buggies with an adult driver.
